Photo competition summer - sun - Saab: part 7

The Saab Community Summer-Sun-Saab competition, supported by the German subsidiary of Saab Parts AB, enters the final round. Until the 15. September is for our readers the opportunity to submit saabige holiday pictures and win great prizes. Today we have more than 50 Saab images and it will be very, very difficult for the jury. From Stockholm come the pictures of Wolfgang, who is on his way to Finland with his Saab 9-5. Another 9-5, member of the Royal Automobile Club of Sweden, also waited and made a good Saab motif.

We have not seen much of the Saab 900, the classic of our cult brand from Trollhättan. Stefan changes that because we got wonderful pictures of the Saab 900 CC and his Saab 900 limousine from the North and Baltic Seas.

His coupe is from 1991, of course still with primary paint - which is not surprising given the paint quality at that time - and as the first owner had another well-known Swedish company with four letters. IKEA had many Saabs in its fleet in the 90s, and there was always a new Saab in the entrance area for advertising purposes in Wiesbaden. Which always made the IKEA visits attractive to me. Such were the good old turbo years from which Saab still feeds today.

Saab 9-3 on Samsoe II. Photo by Hans-Joachim.

From Denmark, from the island of Samsoe, come photos of Hans-Joachim and Esther-Minette, who have touched the island with their camera and focus on Saab. Not only were beautiful images of the Saab 9-3 sportswear on the beach, but also a lot of Danish Saab in front of the lens. Samsoe, an energy self-sufficient island, as I learned, not only seems to have realized the energy transition, the island is also a Saab paradise. The two are, as a sticker on Saab reveals, true Swedish fans. Thanks for the pictures!

A Saab is a Saab, and a Saab is at home on long journeys! On which current Saab is this better than on the Saab 9-5 II Anyone who is allowed to move one of these rare cars is excited about the long-distance quality and praises the great Swedes as the optimal travel car. Max has also spent his holidays in Denmark, and he is very happy with his 9-5. Max drives, like me, since 1992 Saab, meanwhile he owns his fourth Saab.

Mathias was still further north, in Trollhättan. With his stag Saab 9-3 Cabriolet, he visited the Saab Museum. His family now has a Turbo X at home (welcome to the exclusive circle of Turbo X owners!), And this rare Sweden was a popular holiday destination in Denmark. The pictures were taken on the island of Fanø and Mathias raves about driving the Turbo X on the beach. Hmm ... all-wheel drive and e-LSD ... a great combination for extremely great driving fun. I can understand it.

Saab 9-5 II on Lake Constance ferry. Photo of Claudius.

It's amazing how many Saab 9-5 II readers keep in touch with our blog. In Germany, only a few of these great cars came on the road, but who has bought a 9 5 II, which is enthusiastic and stands by the mark. Claudius from Switzerland is a big Saab fan, and the 9-5 II is not the only Trollhättan brand in his garage. In summer, the family and the Saab 9-5 II travel more often with the Lake Constance ferry, then they are on their way to the neighboring countries.

Saab 9-7x on a field in the Vogtland. Photo of Torsten.

Also with the ferry one is on the way, if one commutes between Usedom and Wollin. Torsten has been vacationing on Usedom with his Saab 9-7x. The pictures were taken on the city ferry and in Peenemünde. On the trip home there was a photo of the 9-7x on a field in the Vogtland. Yes, that too is beautiful! Also the Vogtland offers motives, you do not necessarily have to go on vacation.

View from the Saab 9-3 Cabriolet from the Grimsel to the Furkapass. Photo of Gigi.

From Switzerland come pictures of Gigi driving a Saab 9-3 Cabriolet. There is a Saab image with views from the Grimsel to the Furkapass and one from central Switzerland. The most beautiful thing that can be photographed in central Switzerland, he says, is, of course, his Saab. That could be a slight exaggeration objectively. But we all have our love of motoring, which of course comes from Trollhättan, and the inhabitants of central Switzerland are tolerant and will definitely close their eyes.

Saab 9-3 II in sunset on Öland. Photo of Manfred.

Manfred and his Saab 9-3 are already traveling by tradition with caravans in Scandinavia. A Saab is just a good towing vehicle. Already with its blue Saab 9-3 I, now with its Saab 9-3 II and a new, even bigger rolling home. This year we went to Öland, where the wonderful sunset photo was taken.

Saab 9-3 in Alsace II. Saab accessories make sense ... Photo by Kay.

Kay was in Alsace on his Saab 9-3 sports car, which has since been exchanged for a newer Saab 9-3. That a Saab is always a practical car with high utility value, you can see in the pictures. The protective mat for the rear bumper is not only popular in our family!

Saab 9-3 Cabriolet Pratello. Photo of Martin.

I like Saab Cabriolets. And I particularly like yellow Saab Cabriolets. Only, unfortunately, unfortunately, I am alone with this opinion in my family and thus somehow on a lost post ... Martin understood me and correctly interpreted a comment. He sends vacation pictures of his great Saab 9-3 Cabriolet from Italy and Corsica. A yellow cabriolet is even better in the south than in our country ... the color is just brilliant!

Saab 9-5 sports suit Ahrenshoop. Photo of Andreas.

Andreas was on the Darß with his Saab 9-5. He finds the area around Ahrenshoop gorgeous, which is confirmed by the Saabblog crew. After all, members of our team are also regularly on the Darß to go on holiday with the family. His Saab 9-5 with the bicycles on the roof once again confirms that a Saab is the ideal car to travel.

Saab 9-3 on Wolfgangsee. Photo of Olga.

From the beautiful Wolfgangsee comes the contribution of Olga. A Saab 9-3 sedan on vacation in Austria. Olga's family owns more than one Saab, and a very special holiday-themed article comes out of Olga's family tomorrow. Sabrina, also a Saab 9-3, speaks and introduces us. We from the team thought the submission was so great that we decided to publish Sabrina's full length article!

For everyone who wants to flood us with photos from vacation: the clock is ticking and time is running out. We are happy to receive Saab holiday pictures until September 15 to the following email address: foto@saabblog.net

Please all holiday photos with name and phone number!
