Dagens Industri is Sweden's leading business newspaper. On the subject of Saab is traditionally rather critical.

Yesterday's first anniversary of Saab independence is briefly discussed with Victor Muller and Jan Åke Jonsson.

A few facts from the short interview on production, second shift and volume planning for 2011.

order: Saab has an order intake of 7 cars in the first 1990 weeks, according to Muller. This is the highest entry since the acquisition.

Current production: We are currently manufacturing 28 cars per hour. Traditionally, the months of January and February are the weaker months of the auto industry. We expect a significant increase in March.

Production target: The management adheres to a production target of 80.000 units. Even a production of only 60.000 units would not be a problem, we have the necessary flexibility.

Second production shift: The second layer is not an issue for the time being. We can increase production as needed with the current workforce. For example, with the performance of overtime.
