Matthias Seidl: Saab production could start next week.

Update: 14: 00 clock

Matthias Seidl, who heads up Global Sales for Saab as President and Interim Chief Operating Officer for North America, yesterday made a small statement to Bloomberg.

Accordingly, one hopes to start production again next week.

The chances have increased because there is also news from Vladimir Antonov. His spokesman Lars Carlström said earlier this morning to Dagens Industri that 270 million SEK will flow into Saab's accounts during the day.

That would be around € 30 million and would secure production and liquidity for the time being. Antonov would have taken one of the hurdles to become a partner. Other sources have also confirmed this to Dagens Industri. There is no news this morning from the EIB or the national debt administration to support this.

Peter Hallberg from Saab confirmed to the TV channel TV4 West that production on the 28.04 should restart. During the nearly 3 weeks of the Saab crisis, sales and orders have almost halved, Hallberg said on the same channel. The Scandinavians are also unsure.

Take advantage of the beautiful spring day. Keep on Saabing!
