Three Saab teams will participate in the Saab 93 at this year's historic Mille Miglia. Yesterday, the technical inspection took place in Fiere de Brescia, which successfully completed the vehicles. The vehicles were presented to the public in the Piazza de Logia in the center of Brescia. Yesterday evening was started in the direction of Rome.

Victor Muller and Jan Ake Jonsson took part in the Mille Miglia on historic Saab last year. It was an important and good decision for Saab, the brand with a rich sporting past, to finally return the historic Saab 93 to the start and to fly the flag in public. This year Muller is in China and cannot start in Italy.

Saab (Not-yet) shareholder Vladimir Antonov is the owner of the WRC with his Convers group and, after joining the Swedes, would like to get into motor racing with the brand. Only a few days ago, Volkswagen announced its entry into the WRC series.

Saab would do well to enter motorsport and hone the (by GM) watered down brand profile.
