In recent days, the Swedish press has speculated that Saab has many tax debts. That's the way it is in life, it's not good, the vultures are circling, the usual press organs are already at work with the usual statements. Sensations and scandals increase circulation.
Saab, as confirmed by the Gothenburg tax office today, paid the 35 million Swedish krona due - as always - on time and in full. So far, it has to be emphasized that Saab has owed nothing to the Swedish state. Neither has a “tax Sweden crown” flowed from Trollhättan to Saab. Even the unfortunate EIB loan is secured in such a way that the Swedish taxpayer is never asked to pay.
Sad that people in Sweden are speculating about such things and thus further harm the company.
