How Victor Muller wants to start Saab production

The situation in Trollhattan is difficult and confusing, as before. Although Swedish friends provide us with reliable information, we are not there to assess the situation.

One question that has been lost over the past few days is that of restarting production.

Without an ongoing production everything is nothing, in which all parties agree.

There is a lot of speculation about this topic, because you need a sum of at least 50 to 60 million €, even if the suppliers agree to the daring payment proposal.

And so Muller wants to get the production going. The plan consists of two steps.

Step 1:

He is currently negotiating with his Chinese partners for another payment to Saab. It goes, according to the plan for a sum of 35 million €. With this sum Saab would be liquid, the current and acute bottleneck would be overcome.

Step 2:

If step 1 of Muller's plan is through, step 2 comes. Because Saab would be financially much better off with the money from China and could call up the next tranche of the EIB loan. This would bring 30 millions into the fund, Saab could finance the current business until the entry of the Chinese partners and the capital increase.

Speculation? No, it was like that in Svenska Dagbladet today. Written by Jonas Fröberg, the author of “Kampen om Saab” and a proven Saab insider.

The chances ... difficult to assess. And honestly, folks, at the end of the day I'm tired of these endless financial and political stories. I actually want to write about cars from Trollhättan. Then nothing. Perhaps now is the time for a somewhat longer break.

Obviously, a solution seems to be in the foreground.
when the narrow-minded caste of swedish politicians (unfortunately we everywhere ...) would finally take on their duties, everything could go very quickly.
Therefore, the pressure of the public is immensely important, which has unfortunately been missing the last time.

I believed that EIB money was only suitable for developing eco-friendly cars. Is not it that way anymore?
