Saab crisis: new hope, solution in sight?

Update 13: 01 / 14: 36

Currently, a message from the Swedish news agency TT has fluttered into the mailbox. Victor Muller, it is said, negotiates with donors and new liquid funds could ensure the payment of wages and suppliers.

More can not be found in this communication. Whether it is funds that Endeavor collects for Saab or who the investors are is not apparent. Peter Hallberg of Saab told the press that it was a big, well-known financier. Hallberg said after a conference call with Muller yesterday, a reconstruction would be just a stopgap and not a good start for Saab and its new major Chinese shareholders. Because these and Antonov would lose a lot in the reconstruction phase.

Meanwhile, Gunilla Gustavs from the Saab press office in Trollhättan announced that the production employees are in the company, carrying out maintenance work, and making sure that everything works (at the start of production?).

Anyway, speculations are like Red Bull. They give wings to the stock price. Meanwhile Swedish Automobile has gone up by a hefty 40%. Who has climbed today has his dinner for sure. Let's see if it's a straw fire or tomorrow (so my guess) the good news comes.

Anyway, we stay tuned.

Penske?
Does not belong to the Tamsen GmbH (luxury cars)?

I wouldn't mind... because then there might be two more Saab branches here in the north! 😉

We have a tip regarding the big investor:

Roger Penske, USA.

Let's see if we're right ...

Because I would like to know the source if that's true, in the formula 1

The good Mr. Penske is mainly involved with Daimler, so I can not imagine so completely ...

... and whoever got into the shares yesterday - even better 😉 let's see if it will last.

In any case, thank you for this pleasant news. That sweetens the day. Hopefully it will continue like this ...

Incidentally, I'm just about to put together a convincing strategy for my beautiful and better half, to turn our second car (not Saab) into a Saab. Does anyone have experience with it?

If I got it right, you're 9-5 Combi driver (like me).

With regard to the second car in relation to the more beautiful / better half, the 9-3 convertible can definitely come about - depending on your mood and your wallet, (non-binding) inspection u. Test drive appointments (possibly cars from the Internet) agreed. Then “the better half” drives with some SAAB beauties and is guaranteed to get stuck on their future vehicle.

So it has worked with us with the 9-3 convertible (was pretty new).

Good succeed!

It helped that one Saab is a workhorse, the other the “vacation and distance car that is kept even cleaner than the first one. In case of doubt, the woman has to get to know the Saab driving experience even more intensively, so get into the sour apple and voluntarily cede the vehicle to the woman for 4 weeks!

******** of someone who bought his last Saab with 297000 km and who knows what he can eat today because of a few solidarity shares, Faith not only sends mountains, he also brings food and helps Saab! : -) ****

I am already so far! She drives the 9-5er SC daily and I drive the old VW Nuckelpinne! That's annoying a bit, which we already have a good argument in our hands.
Unfortunately, she doesn't like the rear of the 9-3 station wagon that much, had already thought of the sedan, convertible is of course also a good suggestion, but with kids and prams ...

Hi,

finally good news again, that's great :) Am also waiting and hope that it starts soon, so I can order a new 9-5 SC :).

This month I'm already looking for possible alternative (only for worst case), but there is really absolutely NOTHING comparable

There are many more waiting. Alone in my circle of acquaintances 3 9-5 station wagon are overdue. They carry the old crate with more than 200.000 kilometers from month to month. Because we are all Saab Crazy we wait.
