Saab dealer tour 2011: Saab center Bamberg

The Saab Center Bamberg of the Muckelbauer family traditionally has a very good reputation in the Saab scene. For me it was not the first visit to Bamberg, a city that I really like, but the first visit to the Muckelbauers. Once again there was this special “welcome to the family” feeling, which makes our cult brand from Sweden so unique.

A warm welcome and a short tour of the spotless, well-equipped Saab workshop and spare parts warehouse were in the beginning. The Bamberg Saab Center waits, repairs and restores Saabs of all years, the fans often accept a very long journey.

The surprise: There is a restaurant with a Saab touch on the premises, which belongs to the family and is open to all Saab fans. The ambience is lovingly furnished with automotive accessories and is ideal for gas-fueled discussions. More pictures of the Bamberg “Ölkännla” will follow at a later date.

Also this time it was time to get acquainted with readers of Saabblog.net and I think it will not have been our last get-together. As always, the Saab 9-4x was also the surprise star in Bamberg and many Saab 9-5 sports models are probably wondering if the SUV is not an alternative.

The hospitality in Bamberg was good and the service gets five out of five possible stars. Because Lars Henrik Muckelbauer, the very charming offspring of the family, had an eye on the Saab crew and fulfilled us every wish. Lars Henrik, that was great class.

Saab is also lived in Franconia. The Saab center in Bamberg is proof of that. It was a nice afternoon in Bamberg, my heartfelt thanks for the great commitment goes to the family Muckelbauer!
