Saab News: Saab 9-3 successor - fiction or reality

The image of the Saab 9-3 successor, which has been around the world since Thursday last week, has caused a stir in the Saab community. Is the picture really from Saab or is it a fake? Targeted indiscretion from Sweden, to show us a dreamlike hatchback, or the Fotoshop exercise of an editorial?

Saab 9-3 successor to 2014?

The thing in the Autobild hopefully it will not be Friday. Rear taillights from the Saab 9-5, that's OK from then on. Because the Autobild draft looks too fat, too little sporty and front to Renault and not enough to Saab. If we compare the picture that appeared on Thursday with a drawing that we know directly from Saab, it looks a lot, much better.

The more I look at the picture, the better I like it. At the rear, there could be a cool, narrow, continuous LED strip, the appearance would pick up on the Saab 9-5 theme and the old design features of the Saab 9000.

Anyone who has experienced the current Saab 9-5 at night in a formation flight over the German motorway knows how cool and unique it looks. If Saab's future looked like this, I would have one less worry. Hmm. So we can dream ...

  • A “no-go” please not like that. ; (

  • I think. If this is the new 9.3, I would order tomorrow. Condition is only that even the front is so saabisch.
Just build it. The image in the car image has certainly been a design but not up to date.

  • The design of the Autobild does not work. No Saab

  • Could I also imagine a three-door car!

  • I was told (by a Saab official on the dealer's tour) that this is NOT the future 9.3
It can of course be that he is anyway and that one denies in order to maintain the secrecy ...
    So keep dreaming 😉

PS I like it. Another nice cut convertible top on it and good. :-))
