SAAB Blogger: Back from Trollhättan

Hardly back from Trollhättan make the first withdrawal symptoms noticeable. The last 420 kilometers from Leipzig to northern Bavaria was the TurboX the only Saab on the way. No comparison to the last days when Saabs of all model series were on the roads.

There is much to report from Trollhättan. From the Saab Museum only positive things and many changes. More dreary insights from the Saab factory premises in the Stallbacka. Interesting impressions of Motorsport crazy Swedes and Swedes driving with old Saabs Stock Car races.

And in the next few days we will write a current “Saab-affine” travel guide Trollhättan. For all Saab fans who would like to visit the city on Göta Älv.

But first, “real life” is waiting. In this case company and desk. Saab reports from Sweden come when the stack has shrunk somewhat. As always. Some patience.

  • That looks really cool. How I would have loved to have been there, but maybe next time. Stock car races are and always will be the best races 🙂 I hope that such races will occur more often in Germany and that the fan base will grow a bit. Fortunately, at least on the D-Max channel there is a really decent “stock car show” that deals with the rubric.

  • Looking forward to the Saab affine guide, as our summer holiday is dedicated to Saab.
Our Saabrio will return to Sweden for the first time. (it's actually an Austro Swede).
