saabblog.net on tour, convertible rally Saxony

The fourth edition of the Cabrio Rallye Sachsen was a week ago. And yet the impressions I experienced are still very fresh. It was our first major tour in our 9-3 convertible from the 2011 model year.

Unfortunately the weather at the CRS has not always been so nice in the last three years. But this year everything should be different. In bright sunshine and temperatures around the 25 ° C 114 registered vehicles were after all 11 Saab on the track. Wow, that's just under 10 percent !!!

The start was in Radebeul on the historic Güterboden. It went on Saxon country roads past Moritzburg Castle towards Brandenburg Lausitz. It was driven according to the road book, and several time and special stages had to be completed on the route. For lunch everyone met in Lichterfeld under the F 60, a former overburden conveyor bridge that tells of the past and present of lignite mining in Lusatia.

Then it went back to Saxony, via Meißen and Kesselsdorf back to Radebeul for a delicious dinner followed by an evaluation and award ceremony. The team from Saabblog made it to 41st place. After all, it was our first time at such a rally. But it was definitely not the last time!

It was really an incredible day and a successful event thanks to the organization and implementation of the mobilforum. We had a lot of fun and met a lot of nice people and great Saab drivers. There are the most beautiful pictures that we took on the trip here, On the homepage of the CRS you can also see the official picture gallery with 1000 photos.
