SAAB photo. Saab 9-5 II sports car on the road.
Jürg and his family were traveling to Denmark on vacation. In his Saab 9-5 sports suit, of course, when there was an unexpected meeting of different Saab generations. A rare Saab 9-5 II sports suit was - on a van - also traveling through Germany. It is logical that you stalk there, adjust the right moment, and then shoot the pictures. Thanks Jürg!

In the Netherlands Venza Still a few pre-series sports suits for sale, plus a considerable number of Saab 9-4x. Not all vehicles are listed on the internet. Friends who stopped by report that the inventory is larger than what the homepage shows. Where the 9-5 II sports suit was going couldn't be kept a secret for long ... the Saab world is so small! A longtime Saab fan residing in Germany had given himself the rare Saab. He doesn't want to see his name mentioned here, which we can understand. Exclusive fun, congratulations from the blog!
We can welcome the fourth sports car on our roads, which would be equivalent to about 10% of the total production. Because fans who are dealing with the subject, meanwhile, know that there has been more than the assumed 27 pieces and that the number of pieces somewhere between 40 and 50 copies have lain. Many have been scrapped, some still are not sure about their whereabouts, and Saab 2.0 owner NEVS is said to have a handful on the company premises. We will never be able to clarify it completely.

Again and again, even a long time after the end of production, new vehicles come into circulation. For a few weeks now, Switzerland has had a Saab 9-4x, which is now under Swiss license in the Alpine country. And the 9-5 II sports suit of the German Saab fans? He also has his license and is traveling in the Republic. Last week it was seen where a stronghold for all Saab collector cars of recent date. In Kiel, at the local Saab service and unofficial 9-5 II Competence Center, there were three mega-rare sports combos at the company's headquarters. Again!

Can such pre-production models simply be driven like this? Or does a homologation and further steps have to be carried out first so that the vehicle may be used at all? Or is that not possible / allowed at all?
The white 9-4x, which is registered in Switzerland, meets me regularly in the Zug region
Still one of the most beautiful station wagons on our streets! Congratulations and have fun!
Congratulations on this “investment”! May the joy of the new SAAB last long! Be careful and use carefully!

Very nice that there is another on our streets!
Great car (although quite “long” at 5m)!
