Saab & Volvo meeting historic gas station Brandshof.

Marco and I completed the IAA visit, and yesterday's event in Trollhättan is also behind us. Articles will follow, but today we're going to shift down a few gears on the Saab blog, and there are a few Saab - Volvo impressions from Hamburg. On Sunday, friends of both Swedish brands met at the historic one Oldtimer gas station Brandshof, Volvo is the larger brand, and so the Gothenburg were of course more represented than the vehicles from the neighboring Trollhättan.

Beautiful Swedish sheet metal, or rather Swedish steel, was represented locally. Among them well-known vehicles such as the Saab 96 V4 Rallye by Nico Gasparatos, last on the way at Hamburg City Park Revival with Simo Lampinen. Also there was SU Blogger Red J with his eye-catching red Saab 9-5 sports suit. Instead of many words come now the impressions from Hamburg.

If that's not enough, you can visit our Youngtimer Blog. There is the retrospective with pictures and video on the Hamburg city park revival, of course, with Saab participation.

  • I hope it is legitimate to appreciate the vehicles of the other manufacturers. The parked behind each other Volvo limousines look somehow impressive, almost state-bearing. Also like the green 02er Baur convertible. However, if I could choose one, my choice would definitely fall on the TU 16S

  • Well, anyway annoying! The meeting in the Bavarian Forest is unfortunately always so that I have no time! Have fun!

  • No, just a few scratches on the front apron and a ruptured water tank. Now it is not clear if I can drive in the Bavarian forest with the red 9-5. Luckily we still have a white convertible

  • Oh, hopefully nothing that will stall the 9-5?

  • My condolences! Hope it is not too bad!

  • Unfortunately yesterday, the eye-catching 9-5 has a special kind of encounter with an Audi.

  • I like beautiful picture report!
