The traditional Saab Griffin is history, NEVS has chosen Saab lettering on a black background as a new distinctive feature of the brand.
We still do not know if, how and when Saab will return to the German market. Official sources are silent, and everything we hear is pure speculation.
Accordingly, the circumstances change. While loyalties are disappearing on the one hand, a not so small scene has established itself in Saab's automobile heart. And who wants to be traveling in a Saab and otherwise with no other brand.
How the story will end is open because there has never been a comparable situation before. A brand no longer builds vehicles, but does not think about disappearing and is now coming back - with a somewhat hesitant restart.
How it could look in the future with our Saab partners, customers of the Saab center Kiel anticipate. In the showroom there is the "unofficial" new CI with the new Saab logo. Unofficial, because the design was based on the Saab 99 Turbo logo, not the NEVS symbol.
A pylon now bears new, black brand emblems. The other pylon shows the Saab 9-3 Aero Sedan from the 2014 model year. The slogan "Saab Service since 1947 and as long as you drive a Saab" has it Swiss branch invented the Orio AB, there are banners with the lettering at the Saab service points.
The conversion to the “new” Saab CI in Kiel is based on the dealer's own initiative. The outside lettering will follow. All of this may seem a bit crazy at first glance, but it shows a lot of Saab spirit. And believing in the future of the brand.
