saabblog.net on the way: Excursion of the SAAB friends Braunschweig / Hannover

What makes a perfect SAAB trip? For all, who unfortunately could not be there on Saturday and for all of them, a short report here.

A great community, great weather and an interesting and varied route. A trip is fun !!

We got to the meeting point with a little delay. In the restaurant “Maltermeister Turm” in Goslar, there was a rich breakfast buffet before leaving. Well strengthened it went to the vehicles. The organizer and tour guide Johannes gave a brief introduction to the route, then we started.

The good about 170km long route led via Clausthal, Osterode, Herzberg, Braunlage in the direction Thale to Rosstrappe. With 20 vehicles we were quite a big group. With a SAAB 99, a handful of 900, a Turbo X, two 9-5 chrome eyeglasses and a lot of 9-3, including many convertibles, we were everywhere astonished but also partly questioning faces.

... a short stopover to collect.
... a short stop to collect.

For a picnic break in Herzberg / Sieber there was a lot of SAAB Talk home-baked cake and coffee.

It was a perfectly organized and very nice trip through the Harz. Many thanks to Johannes and the SAAB friends. We are looking forward to the next trip.

On Sunday is then another highlight of the SAAB season 2014. Alex and Heiko have to exit invited around Chemnitz.

So let's go to Chemnitz! See you on Sunday at 10: 00 at the meeting point Sachsen-Allee.

A few more brief words on my own behalf. Blogger Tom is on a well-deserved but “far too short” vacation this week. I have a lot of (not SAAB) tasks on my desk. Therefore it will be a little quieter on the blog in the near future. With Breaking News the creative break is of course interrupted ... We wish you all a good week.

Must have been really nice, the many bends in the Harz Mountains make it really fun. Would have liked to have been there too, but it was a bit far from Jena. Now it's “off to Chemnitz!” We're really looking forward to it. Tom and family .. have a nice vacation?

hello 9.3Wolfgang, a greeting from 9.3Hans! Yes, the Harz is a bit away from Jena. I know the track, as I occasionally after
Jena drive to visit old friends.
In case I help with my 9.3 Aero BioPower once
need, can you call me (D) a good SAAB workshop?
Thank you and best regards from Braunschweig by 9.3Hans
