Saab 9-3 Griffin Cabriolet
It is one of the last Saab 9-3 Griffin Cabriolets delivered in Germany. For reader Olaf, his proud owner, it is now Saab number 10.

For me, the Saab 9-3 Cabriolet is still one of the nicest ways to be open on the road. And one of the most beautiful convertibles ever on our streets. The design is Scandinavian modern; It is hard to believe that the basic shape came onto the market more than 10 years ago.
With the Griffin version came 2011 the (for the time being) last stage of development on the market. A direct-injection turbo replaced the Euro-4 engines with the Saab Trionic. The Saab was visually refreshed with a more distinctive grille, with larger Saab lettering, framed by the stylized wings of an aircraft.
The rear is cleaner, the griffin had to clear its place in favor of the brand name. The unique “ice-blue” headlights, like the 9-5 NG and 9-4x, are only available in the Griffin 9-3 series.
The 9-3 Griffin Cabriolet from Olaf stands on the rims of the even rarer Independence Cabriolet and is thus perfect in every detail. Because even the license plate fits the 9-3 convertible and now adorns its third Saab.
Summer can come, so Saab-driving is even more fun. Good time from the blog team!

Really a very nice car !! I own one of the last built Saab Griffin convertibles and really appreciate it.
What happened to the Griffin logo under the side indicators? Was Griffins without lettering?
