The Saab soul has suffered in recent days. Sweden has delivered a lot of impositions. How is the Saab Spirit and where is he at home? A Diary of 72 Hours Saab Blog Life.

Visiting Eschborn at Orio Deutschland GmbH. Editorial deadline for the new edition of Saab Inside. For the first time, articles about German Saab events will be published, Managing Director Jan Philipp Schuhmacher has invited to participate. The events in Trollhättan are only marginally an issue. Too much work, but I feel trouble and do not think I'm wrong. Anger, because NEVS damages the brand since May and the drama does not want to end.
While the last articles for the Saab customer newspaper are discussed, letters to the Saab partners in Germany and Austria are sent out. The new fall action is on the doorstep, this time the workshops are made very easy to show Saab flag. As always I am obliged to silence about the details, but for the Saab service partners there are in my eyes no more reasons not to register.
The plans that affect our daily life with Saab now extend well into the coming year. The blog is planning an action for 2015 that we have never carried out of this kind before. A first, and Orio Deutschland GmbH wants to support us. Oh yes ... I almost forgot! The Saab Service Club is in the starting blocks, registration is recommended. The Saab Spirit on this turbulent Friday ... it was palpable in Eschborn.

The morning belongs to the family, and at lunchtime Saab comes from the Taunus. Two young Saab friends having a Saab 9-5 NG on the shopping list. Now they can not decide. A Saab 9-5 TTID that you have already tested, or an 2.0 liter turbo petrol engine. You can choose from a four-wheel 9-5 and a front-wheel drive, both several hundred kilometers away.
Since we know each other from Saab meeting and Stammtisch and understand otherwise well, there is a date for test drive with Bloggers Saab 9-5 ( Note: an absolute exception ). The journey goes on the country road. The Saab enthusiasm and the happy smile on the face increases with every kilometer. Saab Spirit live!
Actually, after a few minutes, the decision is made, but we still make a round together and spend some time with Saab Talk in Aschaffenburg's most beautiful beer garden. The purchase contract for a Saab 9-5 NG will be fixed on Monday. It is said to be a copy in Fjordblue, which is located at a well-known Saab dealer in the north.

Time to read the mails in the mailbox. The unfortunate development around NEVS affects the readers. What lands on my desk are encouraging words. Saab lives ... is what we drive every day ... what is on the doorstep. The community is active, the report of a Saab exit in Neumünster is included, I will publish it on our Youngtimer Blog today.
What else? The invitation for a Saab meeting, which takes place on Saturday, the 27.09.2014, near Koblenz in the Wüstenhof Vallendar, from 15: 00 clock. And the long letter from a Saab fan who bought his first Saab a few days ago. It has become an 2002 Saab 9-3 Anniversary, and some lines of his letter make me pensive:
"After many years of driving cars “for others”, I've found that that doesn't make me happy. And so I started to drive cars for "myself"."
The Saab Spirit is alive! Apparently he is just as indestructible and tough as the cars from Trollhättan. No reason to despair so! Keep the fire burning!
