Hopeful look

Saab friends from Germany are traveling in Sweden. From Trollhättan send us this photo. A hopeful look at the Saab plant, even though the sky is gray and full of clouds. And there is really a little good news!

Because hope is what not only the Saab friends, but above all the brand and the city now need.

After all, there is the little good news after work. NEVS announced via Schwedenradio that it had sealed the first partial sale in three weeks. It is about the development company that is to go 50% to a new partner. One billion Swedish krona - at today's rate of € 1 million - is to flush the transaction into the yawning empty coffers. NEVS would then be liquid again after deducting all liabilities. Theoretically, the reconstruction could be completed before the first meeting of creditors.

If it comes to a conclusion, it would be good news for the municipality and for the future of automotive engineering in Trollhättan. How it looks in the city - just 3 days before the election to the Swedish Reichstag - what the mood is, I will report on the blog tomorrow.
