Saab at the Essen Motor Show
At times like these, it's important to keep the Saab flag in the wind. Not that easy, but in Germany it works very well even without manufacturer support.
The brand is alive because we keep it alive. For years, clubs, fans and committed retailers have been working to keep Saab talking. A story that will continue this year. For events have already been announced for 2015; including there will be one or the other premiere.
Actually, we would have earned, with all the private commitment, a happy ending in Sweden. But that is beyond our influence. We can only wait, have fun with our cars, and secretly keep our fingers crossed.
Currently the Saab flag is blowing since the 28.11. at the Essen Motor Show. The members of the 1. German Saab clubs have moved into their exhibition space in Hall 8.1, Stand 111 and show visitors Swedish automotive culture there. A Saab 9-3 I Coupe in a matching trim, a Saab 9-3 II Cabriolet and a Saab 9-5 Aero Sportcombi show that sporty cars come from Trollhättan.
The Food motor show is still up to the 7. Open in December. The opportunity for some Saab flair, gasoline talks and nice contacts to the club is there. The exhibitors of the 1. German Saab Club look forward to saabigen visit!
Here you can also see the 9-3 on the track!

Hey Tom,
Thank you very much for your report on our club stand and thank you also to the photographer for the great pictures.
Writing is also fun on these cars (and I believe that taking pictures too)
I fully agree with the above opinions. What a great 9-3 I Coupe !!!! Since every Saabian's heart beats higher. I look forward to a look in my garage after work.
The 9-3 l Coupe is awesome!
Great performance by the club members for SAAB in Essen! Family-friendly 9-5 model, elegant 9-3 convertible and powerful 9-3 coupe. Something for everyone… 😉
SAAB, the underrated brand! The thoughts also go to Trollhättan….
A dreamlike 9-3 I Coupe. What did SAAB build for great cars?
Good morning Tom,
Wow, I like that. These are great pictures and hopefully that will stay in the memory of the visitors. You are absolutely right, we keep the SAAB Spirit upright.
thanks for the contribution
The pictures are really great, but not by me, so as not to adorn me with strange feathers. They are from Richard, who already photographed at Pilot's wanted 2014 in Kiel and also 2013 at the festival in Trollhättan.
hi Tom, I realize that you carry a small but fine photographer up your sleeve :)
