SAAB saved in Vienna

SAAB in Vienna has always been more or less synonymous with SAAB Oberlaa. Many Austrians bought their SAABs there and the dealership has always felt like the heart of SAAB in the country. It was therefore extra sad that they had to do their work earlier last week, Car dealership Himberg opened its doors!

Warm welcome
Some 250 SAAB fans from around the entire region came to Himberg, a small town in the outskirts of the capital Vienna. The streets were filled with SAABs on this sunny Saturday and the spirits were high! Himberg as a predecessor company, the car dealership Himberg facilities really breathe customer focus and most of all: SAAB passion and experience.

SAAB passion and experience

Mario Milincic was born in a true SAAB family. His father worked at Oberlaa for many years and Mario himself started working with SAAB already back in 1999. The family really caught the "SAAB virus" as they are XIV. "While I respect other brands as well, I can not imagine owning any other car than SAAB. I've grown up with you!Said Mario. 9 3OG deer convertible, 9000 CD 2,3 turbo, 9000 CS 2,3i, 9-5OG Aero 2,3 turbo deer, 9-5OG 2,0 turbo deer, 9-3NG Aero Hirsch, 9-5NG Aero 2,0 turbo XWD Hart and last but not least 900 turbo series 1 Convertible with APC. "It was really unfortunate that Oberlaa had to close down in April 2014 but I really happy that SAAB workshop in the Vienna area to the large group of SAAB drivers".

Bright future
There are a few other car brands standing in the car dealership Himbergs car park, waiting for service. The goal, however, is to focus on 90% or more on SAAB. "What I am seeing is our customers are really devoted to their SAABs. Most actually own more than one and want to keep them on the road and in top shape. Sometimes they are just as good as they are".

"I just see a very bright future for SAAB and I am hoping that things are really working out now with Mahindra. In the meantime we are selling cars in addition to doing maintenance. One of the reasons I decided to start my new company is the demand for (2nd hand) SAABs in Austria has actually stopped producing new cars in Trollhättan and given the limited supply in Austria. SAAB, a real testimony of how amazing SAAB quality and how timeless the design actually is!"

  • What do you mean by that? Do you like to specify something that is too bold?

  • The article is a little too bold ... let's leave the church in the village.
Good luck to the Saab-tinkers with their new garage!

  • Well oops ... I didn't even notice ... I was a customer there with my three Saabs ... I will probably have to stop by 😉 In any case, good luck !!! Nice to hear that there is a workshop again that looks after our treasures ...

  • Greetings Erich, thank you for your e-mail, hope you feel comfortable with us as a customer, lg Mario

  • Pardon, should mean “good luck” of course!

  • As a loyal consumer of SaabBlog, I am pleased to read about Saab activities in my closest home! And as a regular customer in the car dealership Oberlaa, I am pleased about the opening of the car dealership Himberg and congratulate Mario Milincic on this decision!
For the time being on this way all the best and a lot of success, see you in Himberg!
    Greetings!
    Erich
