IntSaab2015: Arrival in Germany

Hello Germany! We have arrived in Kiel to Schwedenkai but l only see a lot of Volvo's! 🙂 In other countries I know that Swedish cars are just Swedish cars but in Sweden there are very few people who drive booth Volvo & Saab, you drive one or the other! That's why I really want to show you a dealership in Germany who has done the best to survive after the Saab bankruptcy, I will come back to this later. I have never liked Volvo so much but I must say the new Volvo's looks really nice and the new XC90 looks fantastic, but it's not in our price range. We like Saab and will drive Saab as long as possible. We were planning to make a visit to Autohaus Lafrentz but the radio said it was going to be one of the worst travel days in Germany of the year so we headed for Hessen right away.

Therefore, I would like to show you soon a Saab dealer in Germany, who has done the best to survive after the bankruptcy of Saab. I've never really liked Volvo. But I have to admit that the new Volvo looks really good and the new XC90 looks fantastic. He is not in our price range. We love Saab and we want to drive Saab as long as we can. We had planned a visit to the dealership Lafrentz, but on the radio they said that it would be one of the most congestion-intensive days of the year in Germany. Therefore, we decided to set the course directly on Hesse.

It's a huge difference to drive in Germany where there are cars everywhere, road constructions and traffic jams. I am getting more and more used to driving here now and I don't see the Autobahn as a racing track. I drive safely and slowly and follow the speed limits. Soon we foreigners have to pay road toll to drive on the Autobahn but what if Germans had to pay to drive on Swedish roads? Another topic….

We counted a total of 5 Saabs on our journey from Kiel to Giessen 550km. Günter is no photographer! On the picture is one of them at least sorry for the bad picture, Günter is no photographer!

We were able to count 550 Saabs on our journey from Kiel to Giessen (5 km). At least one of these can be seen in the photo. We apologize for the bad photo. Günter is not a photographer!

    ... as I'm older and I can't speak English, I only speak a little Swedish, so I'm happy about the two languages. Where's Swedish ??? & Günter Photo is great
