Flensburg
Today "Friday" we left Bieber, Hessen for Flensburg. A 610 km journey to reach the German / Danish boarder. Going on the highway on a Friday is always an experience. We've had the traffic almost all the way to get stuck in traffic in Hamburg for 2 hours. This picture is from the speed trap north of Kassel. Germany love their traffic cameras.
Today "Friday" we left Biebertal, Hessen and set off for Flensburg. An 610 km long journey to reach the German / Danish border. Such a long drive on the freeway on a Friday is always an adventure. We were lucky almost all the way with the traffic. Only in Hamburg we stood for about 2 hours in a traffic jam. This photo is from the speed camera north of Kassel. Germany loves his speed cameras.
This is the 8th post from Marcus and Manuela Bergfeldt about their experiences in participating in the IntSaab2015 event. This is their last post from their pre-tour (they are arriving in Norway tomorrow), driving their wonderful jet black SAAB 9-5NG from their home town Tranås in Sweden to the Hessen region in Germany, and ultimately via France, Belgium and Denmark to IntSaab2015 host country Norway. Their earlier posts can be found here and the next one will follow soon too!
I traveled to Corsica from Russia to Saab. The saddest thing of all travel - is traffic jams on German autobahns. Russian (Moscow) traffic jams - a sophomoric against the backdrop of German traffic jams 🙂
Wow that'sa really long trip!
In Germany, I have not seen a single Saab
Only BMW, Volkswagen, Audi
Hey, Michel!
A wonderful photo with the SAAB 9-5 NG on Lokken beach! The house in the background is very familiar to me from my vacation in 2014! Makes good memories…. In 2015 we were at the Kattegat.
But: the sky is almost cloudless and blue! BATHING is always possible! Possibly. even for a few minutes ... ;-)
Have a nice journey to Norway!
Thanks for the feedback! Just to avoid any confusion… Marcus and Manuela are writing the IntSaab2015 articles, I'm only the one publishing them on the Internet 🙂
