Saab 9-3 and 9-5 especially safe!

Cars are becoming permanently safer, modern assistance systems can be found in all classes. In the top list “Best Choice”, the price league up to US $ 20.000, we mainly find young vehicles. But unfortunately no Saab.
Four years without production, this is almost a vehicle generation again, there is a gap. Saab 9-5 NG and the 9-4x do not really matter on the American market. You have to search the stock with the magnifying glass. The last Saabs, they are rare, exotic and collector cars.
The Saab presence begins in the “Good Choice” list. Vehicles recommended there celebrated their premiere a few years ago, they do not present the latest state of the art. But they are still above average, an affordable recommendation for young drivers.
We find Saab 9-3 and Saab 9-5 in the middle class. Saab sports suit and sports sedan from both series are cheap to have. Prices start at US $ 2.700 and the vehicles are 10 years old. From year of construction 2005 the IIHS recommends cars from Trollhättan. Remarkable - the “old” construction of the 9-5 can compete with the competition from Sweden as well as with younger premium models from Japan.
The IIHS recommendation list confirms the feeling of driving an above-average safe car. As a complete shopping list, it can only be transferred to European conditions with restrictions. The preference in North America for large, heavy SUVs dominates; small cars are considered dangerous in principle. Comprehensible ! SUV versus small car, it's clear who's going to lose.
I had a heavy traffic accident in a German car and I was shocked, what luck I had to have survived the crash unhurt. As a result, I changed my priorities in vehicle search. After the Pobefahrt at the Saab dealer I was sure. Saab is exactly what I am looking for. This feeling has remained the same even though my Saab is already 14 years old and I also drive the other Swedish brand.
