The 1:18 collector's scale is more popular than ever. It is therefore possible that some showcases will be quite tight in 2021. We expect a flood of model car innovations from DNA Collectibles. At least by Saab standards. Among them is one or the other model car that fans have been waiting for for a long time.
The real treat could be the Saab 9-3 Aero Cabriolet from 2005. Many consider its design to be very successful and more subtle than the facelift. It would be particularly brave if it were brought onto the market in the Saab cult color “Lime Yellow”. Cabriolet miniatures have so far been in short supply, especially on a large scale. That changes this year.
At least as exciting are the two classics that are also on the DNA Collectibles plan.
The 900 Saab 1982 Turbo Sedan, also known as the Gradschnauzer in fan circles, has long had the status of a legend. And the 900 Turbo from 1993 is one of the most attractive Saab models ever.
5 new Saab miniatures 2021
The summary includes the following new releases for 2021 on the list of DNA Collectibles:
- Saab 900 Turbo Sedan 1982
- Saab 900 Turbo T16 Airflow 1993
- Saab 9-2X Aero 2004
- Saab 9-3 Aero Convertible 2005
- Saab 9-3 Sportcombi Turbo X 2008
Five new, exciting Saab miniatures for 2021, but unfortunately no schedule. The Swiss are still making a secret of when which product will be presented. The colors of the miniatures have not yet been published either. But what would life be without tension and anticipation for the little trivialities?
What is certain, however, is that the tried and tested policy of limited editions will not change. There will be less than 1.000 copies of each model car per variant, all vehicles are numbered consecutively on the base plate. This guarantees a stable collection value and a certain degree of exclusivity.
The one in summer 2020 is now ready for delivery in January presented Saab 9-5 NG Aero. The waiting time was long and the edition is not sold out yet. Orders are possible, even at the risk that the space in the showcases is becoming increasingly limited.
