From fan to fan - Saab 9-3 Aero Coupe built in 2000
It happens again and again that you come across cars that you would love to own. This Saab 9-3 Aero Coupe is such a candidate. It is one of those vehicles that comes from the hands of enthusiasts and that has a clear history. You don't actually sell a car like this. And if so, then only with a heavy heart.

Saab 9 3 Aero Coupe
Usually I don't write about the readers' cars. In this case I make an exception because I've known Hans the owner for years and because he wants his Saab in good hands. He says he wants to reduce his collection a little. For reasons of age, because the Aero is super fast and it always drives too fast.
Either way, the Saab is a collector's item. The last hatchback car from Trollhättan, still moving in everyday life without any restrictions. As an upcoming classic, the Aero conveys a lot of style and, typical for the brand, is a versatile vehicle with a talent for sports cars and transport. The body kit of the Viggen gives the 9-3 a visual presence, it was designed by Ian Callum, the great Jaguar designer.
What can you write about the Saab? Originally it was registered in Switzerland, Hans has been owner number 2 since 2013. In 2019 the Aero moved to Germany together with Hans and his other vehicles, the car has been rolling since then, properly cleared with German license plates.
The speedometer reports a little over 141.000 kilometers, the Saab is checked booklet, most recently around 200 kilometers ago at the Saab Garage Buser in August 2020. The coupe is rust-free, the paint has small signs of wear, one fender has a pin-large paint defect. This statement alone shows that the condition is good.
The Saab should go into good hands
The bonnet was repainted, the Pirelli P7 tires are 1000 kilometers down, the TÜV is fresh. The interior is very neat, the displays have no pixel errors. Hans had the Aero set a little lower, the track is a little wider. Of course there is an expert opinion here.
Anyone who knows the 9-3 Aero knows that with its 205 turbo hp it is good in the forage. Its performance is still attractive today, and there is a small surcharge on request. The accessories for the coupe include a map tuner that programs the Saab to 250 hp and 320 Nm. The device is available as a bonus, of course it is not allowed to use it on public roads, the instinct to play should be allowed to run its course on private property.
As always, the question arises at the end of what the Saab can cost? From fan to fan, Hans would like to see € 9.900,00, which is not enough. Judging by the condition of the vehicle and its rarity. He is also aware of that, but things are just the way they are. And if the Aero Coupe is supposed to go, then at least in good hands, even if it's not at the top price.

I squirm ..., the desire for this (!) SAAB is incredibly attractive ..., but I've finished.
My 9-3 TTiD AERO gave me so many complaints when saying goodbye / selling, I don't WANT to have to go through that again, someday.
I'll treat you to Hans, a good new SAAB owner. The AERO certainly deserves it. An optical pleasure. Technically anyway.
Goodbye blue beauty ...
Beautiful coupe! I wish Hans that it comes into the best of hands!
