In July Koenigsegg showed them Pre-production version of Jesko on the airfield in Ängelholm. In the meantime, production should have started in the newly expanded factory. However, Jesko and Jesko Absolut do not roll off ordinary tapes. Eight high-tech production stations are available to build the latest hypercar from Sweden. That requires precision and craftsmanship. And takes a little longer than you might think.
Der "TheSupercarBlog.com“Exclusively reported the start of production of the Jesko, referring to unspecified sources. After production of the Regera was phased out, the Jesko was the only model of the manufactory until the start of production of the Gemera.
125 pieces of the Jesko are to be produced. It is the fastest Koenigsegg of all time and has active aerodynamics. With the 1.600 hp that the supercharged 5 liter V8 from Koenigsegg is supposed to produce with E85 fuel, a top speed of more than 500 kilometers per hour could be possible.
The maximum torque of the hypercar is 1.500 Nm. The production time of a Jesko should be 8 weeks. It will therefore take until November or December before you will see a production vehicle. The handover of the first hypercars to waiting customers is planned for the first quarter of 2022.
The basic price, net without VAT, is around € 2.35 million. As a rule, it does not stay at the base price. Koenigsegg enables its customers every conceivable individualization, which of course has to be remunerated accordingly. At the end of the day, the price tag for a Jesko or Jesko Absolut can also be € 3 million.
Swedish engineering and manufactured goods have their price. The finance minister of the country of destination will be pleased.
