Climate neutrality - Saab BioPower Concept 100 Geneva 2007

Climate neutrality - a hot topic. You could have acted 14 years ago. At that time, Saab presented the BioPower Concept 100 in Geneva. A fuel 100% from renewable sources could have reduced CO₂ emissions from road traffic. Immediately and noticeably. Saab had the technology. Has happened - nothing. The alliance of mainstream media and petroleum lobby saw ethanol in direct competition with food production. A truth that applied to the first generation of fuel, but not to the following generations. Waste from industry, forestry and agriculture could have been used to produce green fuel for the combustion fleet on a large scale. The concept's roots go back to the 90s. And the story didn't end in 2011, there are still unanswered questions.
