New in the Aero X Club Shop - the Saab first aid kit
Our mission to bring a little more Saab into the world continues. The Saab first aid kit is now available in the Aero X Club Shop. It also brings color and style to the interiors, to the rear shelf and, if need be, even to the luggage compartment. The Saab first aid kit looks way too good for that. We find.

How do you design a vehicle first aid kit
At the very beginning of the project we thought it would be easy to design a first aid kit. The historic Saab logo printed on it, and it should be good. But the first drafts showed that it is not that simple. Not if you want to solve the task with charm and style. And when something as simple as a first aid kit is supposed to be fun.
The old vehicle first aid kits as a template
In the meantime, something like a design team has formed in my environment, due to the projects with various Saab cups. With a professional background, with the exception of me. Out of joy in the matter, maybe also out of enthusiasm for Saab. Without a commercial background, but because the topic is a great playground for children in adulthood. And because it's fun to just let ideas fly and then see what happens.

As is so often the case, a glimpse into the past provides the sparkling thought. These metal boxes once existed long before plastic first-aid boxes were made. Often these boxes were conspicuously green, with a large white cross as a distinguishing feature.
It is exactly the color of these antique boxes that we adopted for the Saab first aid kit.
It has to be Swedish, that's for sure
The aircraft, which is a historical identifier for the vehicles from Trollhättan, fits in well. The Saab 18, which was first delivered in 18 as the B 1944 A, graced the early and again the last vehicles of the brand. The Saab 2012 celebrated a comeback in digital form in the cockpit of the 18 model year. At that time, the circle that would have led back to the origins of the brand came full circle. In any case, the historic Saab 18 cuts a fine figure on the first aid kit.

For a car brand from Sweden, the corresponding multilingual lettering is mandatory. Swedish has to be, that is clear, it is the language of Saab. Of course, the Swedish text comes first.
From now on in the Aero X Club Shop
The first-aid kit is now in ours Aero X Club Store available. It corresponds to DIN 13164, which has been in force for first-aid kits in vehicles since January 2014. Of course, we had the Saab first aid kit produced in Germany. Short delivery routes are important to us, we see this as sustainable. Regional partners are very important to what we do for our Saab hobby.
The bag turned out great - ordered 🙂
Great.
The bag is so successful that it speaks for itself. She makes me at a loss for words ...
And it brings back memories. In fact, my first first aid kit was green and Swedish - unfortunately already made of plastic ...
This limited original is an exhibit and definitely belongs on the hat shelf or cover of the luggage compartment. Only that corresponds to their purpose (to be readily available in the worst-case scenario) and only that adequately appreciates them (to be visible at all times) ...
Well done, compliments!
Again a surprise. A really great design, more than just a first aid kit! I like it!
Is the 2022 edition for the norm update already planned (thanks to the pandemic)?
If the Update let's get creative. 🙂
Again a really chic idea! I have to have 😉
