If you've been following the blog for a few years, you might still remember this Ida project remember. It was about an old, fairly worn-out Saab 9-5 OG. The Saab had 1000 and one defect and Orio AB set about restoring the 9-5 to new car condition using original parts. In the eyes of the media, the campaign was a success. Strategically, it could have provided the prelude to another idea. Putting older vehicles in the condition of a new car, with a (Saab) factory guarantee in the background, that was the actual goal. Saab remarketing as a business model. That was in 2015.
