February 27, 1947 - the car brand Saab is born (part 1)

75 years ago today, the history of the Saab car brand officially began. A decision by the company management, which was only a formality, paved the way. The car brand Saab was on the way as a start-up. Even if it already had a lot more to offer at that point than some electric car start-ups that are going public do today. A working prototype was ready, construction plans and production planning were completed. Distribution via a large trading organization was decided. Everything had started earlier and under circumstances that were adventurous. Because among the aircraft builders there was only one man who had any idea how to build a car.
