February 27, 1947 - the car brand Saab is born (part 2)

The year is 1946. It will be a little more than a year before the Saab car brand is born. Saab AB needs this spin-off, and it needs to be successful. Because the market for military aircraft is declining and the plants will no longer be working to capacity in the foreseeable future. Trollhättan is particularly worrying, as car production is supposed to fill the gap there. Before that, however, a dispute rages behind the scenes. Will Saab build a car based on the Wolfsburg KDF car concept? A decision has to be made.
