February 27, 1947 - the car brand Saab is born (part 3)

The road to the birth of the car brand is rocky. The design of the Saab prototype is under criticism. Not everyone likes the shape of the streamline. Then there is the matter of the engines, which must be finally clarified. Should Saab rely on a design based on DKW patents that are no longer effective? Or better use a new Swedish construction? It's tough. The start-up is keeping both options open for the time being. We are now in the autumn of 1946, in 5 months a new Swedish car brand will be born.
