The Saab 25-9 celebrated its premiere 5 years ago

1997, those were exciting times! Saab's automobile production was 50 years old, and there were Anniversary models from the 9000 as a gift to customers. But the absolute gift was the new Saab 9-5, which the brand gave itself for its birthday. The Swedish limousine stood for the start of a new era and demonstrated the increased demands on the Göta Älv. The 9-5 was a great success because Saab successfully poached in foreign territories. A satisfaction for the old guard of Saab engineers, whose last big challenge was the project 640.
