The era of the famous Saab engines ends with the 2023 model year

Saab built legendary good turbo engines. A highlight of engine development was the B205 and B235, which were available for purchase in the large series until they were replaced by the new 9-5 generation. The engines were a further development of the B2x4 series, for which Per Gillbrand was responsible. Developed and produced in Sweden and for a long time exclusively Saab. With the legendary Trionic, Saab was a little ahead of its time and the fact that the era of these engines is only now ending reinforces the myths surrounding the small brand from Trollhättan.
