The convertible with the IWC pilot's watch - Saab 900 Mellow Yellow

Saab was already a pretty exclusive car brand. In 1997, the Swedes presented the 900 Mellow Yellow Cabriolet in cooperation with Rinspeed. The Swiss car tuner turned the open Saab into a design object for the avant-garde. This was well received and struck a chord with customers. Different from the way too eccentric Sunbeach convertiblethat Frank M. Rinderknecht, founder of Rinspeed AG, had previously come up with.

Was it because of the fundamental affinity of Saab drivers for the color yellow, or because of the IWC pilot's watch specially designed for Saab, which came with the new car? The convertible became a success and we have found an extremely attractive example for you.
