Practical test Saab 9-3 Aero V6 Hirsch - high mileage a problem?

A rainy Sunday in October. The 9000 makes an unplanned pit stop in the workshop. Since there is a little more to do, Gérard Ratzmann hands me the key to his car. A Saab 9-3 Aero V6, a sedan. Does he know that I'm going to make a story out of it? He probably does. Because the Saab really offers some material for an exciting contribution.

The speedometer shows almost 250.000 kilometers. That is much. How does this 9-3 drive? Does it have Swedish long-term car qualities, or is it just an old car with too many miles? The result of the practical test is surprising.

The second generation Saab 9-3 was not predicted to have a long service life. There is too much GM in the car, and the amount of cheap plastic used is also unhealthy. That can never go well. That's what many German Saab partners thought when they first came into contact with the new edition of the 20-9 3 years ago.
