The Saab Troll sticker (transparent) is back!
It's been 11 years since the Saab Troll celebrated here Comeback. The history was that a Saab workshop that no longer exists today gave us an original Troll sticker from the 1960s. To our surprise, the Saab Troll was not as colorless-matt and destructive as with many reprints that we knew up to then.
No, this troll was colorful and life-affirming. A real troll, as legend has it that he lives near the waterfalls in Trollhättan. The historical troll was digitized after being in a drawer for around 50 years, which he accepted. Since then, the original Saab Troll sticker has been available in the shop again. In recent months, however, no longer in the transparent version.

The transparent Saab Troll is back!
This variant is now back, reissued because fans and readers have asked for it again and again. Maybe because it's simply part of a Saab. The transparent troll feels particularly at home on the inside of every pane, because that's where he has the perfect view of the outside.

If our information is correct, then it was the Saab Rally Department that first introduced the trolls. The factory cars, with Stig Blomqvist, Per Eklund, Erik Carlsson, Simo Lampinen and many other big names are said to have glued the troll onto the panes first.

The trolls drove from victory to victory, at least for a time, and thus established Saab's formidable reputation in motorsport. Whether the story really happened that way or whether it was just told by a troll is not entirely certain. In any case, it is beautiful and in the later years the Saab trolls were glued to just about every 96 and 95 that left the factory in Sweden.
Im Aero X Club Store Both versions, transparent and white, are now available from stock again.
Oh dear, and now??? 🙁 What am I supposed to do now, dear Tom? Stick the artifact sticker, which you kindly sent me in the fall, to the convertible in the spring, as planned with a photo story??? In my wildest dreams, I would never have dared to dream that in the third decade of the 3st century there would be a brand new, equally colorful, transparent colleague. So order the new little guy (preferably several at once) and simply keep the old one without sticking it on and cherish it in the box? Or send back to the blog? Or glue the old colleague??? That's a real problem ;-( , whose solution I haven't found yet.
By the way: while I'm writing this, a cheeky, colorful little fellow grins at me from my coffee cup. It is yellow on the inside and immediately puts you in a good mood! I discovered this lovely little fellow at Lafrentz's some time ago and was happy to be able to secure three of these little guys (the rest of the Kiel stock) who immediately spread a good mood. Weren't they also from the Saab blog? (The no longer existent) address is written on the cup http://www.trollig.com : )
Apply the historical adhesive in a relaxed manner. That's what he was made for.
The troll mugs were from us, that's true. Trollig.com was our first work. We later passed the domain on to Skandix, who unfortunately no longer maintained it.
Not only on the 95 + 96, but also on the Saab 99 in the early 70s, this sticker was stuck on the rear side windows ex works. Don't know up to which year this was up to date, at least at some point from the mid/late 70's you didn't see these stickers anymore.
I think the troll is part of the basic equipment for every Saab. Nothing has changed since the old Saab 96 times!
... to the basic equipment ...
Wonderful:-)!
Short and concise SAABig.
