Castles in the air and Saab relics - what remained of big dreams

Chinese automakers are on the rise in Europe. A wave is building up that is not yet visible to everyone. But it will roll. The Chinese have many years of experience in building battery cars. This routine is now paying off, the Europeans are chasing for the first time in history. Not every European company will survive the next few years in its current form. Some providers are well positioned for the future, while others look bleak behind the glossy facades.

Of course, not all Chinese brands are successful. The investors who took over the Saab legacies in Sweden provided the impressive proof of how it will not work. Only relics remained of their castles in the air and dreams. The conquest of the market by the Evergrande car brand Hengchi shows - if you look closely - only results that are pathetic.
