Announcement - 6th Hamburg Saab meeting in Brandshof
Soon it's time again! Also this year, the popular Saab meeting in Hamburg will take place at the historic large gas station in Brandshof. After a few cancellations due to the corona situation, it is already the 6th meeting of its kind. An appointment that all fans of the brand should make a note of. Because the way to Hamburg is always worth it!
Already last year there was a huge interest to report. As soon as the event started, the yard was filled with Swedish cars. The area around the gas station was also well frequented, and parking spaces were becoming scarce. This year it will probably be similar, as always, the entrance to the petrol station area is reserved for historic vehicles alone.
There we have a newcomer this year, who is now officially part of the historic Göta Älv sheet metal.

The second Saab 900 generation is 30 years old (Saab 900 NG), which is sure to give some traditionalists a headache. Because the 900 NG was the first new Saab after GM's entry - and therefore not without controversy. Can the 900 NG now be called a classic, like the first 900? And can he drive onto the premises?
Of course he can! Because what seems young to the old is already a real classic to the young in the scene.
And so it is acceptable.
Nevertheless, the space around the gas station building is limited, ask the organizers to park flexibly if possible, to be considerate and to see the possible classic car park only as an option.
The 6th Hamburg Saab Meeting starts on May 6, 2023 at 11.00 a.m. and will end at 17.00 p.m. Participation is free as always, Saab of all years of construction are welcome in the Brandshof.
Just entered into my genuine leather Filofax. I'm happy...
Class! Hopefully this time I will finally be able to participate “properly” for the first time (unfortunately only in the afternoon last year, but that was also very nice thanks to the many discussions). That is now firmly planned, the 10 km drive should be manageable ;-). Until then, I just have to spruce up the convertible 🙂 , even if it's only allowed to park "outside".
800 km journey, unfortunately, would like to take part!
It's also not around the corner from Frankfurt. We go there anyway – at home on long journeys.
The 99er has already internalized the way to Hamburg!
