The Saab 9000 gets its spring inspection (and more)

Over the winter, the Saab 9000, the Swedish diva, has fared well except for a few bad tempers. Now he got a spring inspection, and some preventative maintenance. So that spring and summer can be relaxed with the classic Saab.

Actually, the 9000 CSE should have rested a bit now. The 9-5 Aero (Link) and the 9-3 Aero Hirsch Performance (Link) would have taken over first. But the plan didn't work. The 9-5 is now flying the long haul, and it is doing it excellently. But the 9-3 is grounded until further notice and is in the workshop. Since it will be doing this for a longer period of time, the 9000 is allowed to continue flying.

That is not a problem for me. Because I still like the 9k. Maybe even more than ever, because the workshop has improved the 9000 at a crucial point and increased the comfort of the Saab classic.

It runs and runs - and consumes little petrol, the Saab 9000
