With the 9000 Turbo, Saab made it into the executive class. Suddenly the brand became interesting for managers who use their car as a business tool. The Saab was fast and innovative, it offered space and luxury, and it conveyed sophisticated style and understatement.
The optimal car for the manager who is always on the go and unwinds countless kilometers. Not for nothing was the slogan at Saab at home on long journeys to be. It is logical that not very many of the cars used for business purposes survived the test of time. Many kilometers also meant high wear and tear and a relatively early end.
