Swedish again - change of ownership of the old Saab factory

In Trollhättan, the signs point to change. The Saab factory in the Stallbacka is about to change ownership, after years it will be Swedish again. This should bring life back to the huge factory premises. New companies, primarily from the automotive industry, can move in. And even a resumption of car production could be on the agenda.

The previous owner is withdrawing to a remaining core area, which accounts for 20% of the factory area. This means that future car production by NEVS or Evergrande could also continue to be possible. With the retention of the remaining area, a requirement of the Chinese owners is met.

In April, Polestar moved into Saab's former research and development center as a tenant. Since then there has been speculation about the future of the building.
