Our Saab T-shirt - 1947 Trollhättan Born - is online

Today we start the promised pre-order phase for our Saab T-shirt - 1947 Trollhattan Born – in the Aero X Club Shop. In the next 14 days, until June 4th, the shirt can be available in the shop. Delivery starts immediately afterwards - so that the summer can be celebrated with a current Saab statement!

The shirt conveys a message, of course. 1947 Trollhattan Born takes up the beginnings of the brand. It is reminiscent of the Saab factory on Göta Älv - the Saab 92 and the original Saab drawn by Sixten Sason. Members of the Saab scene will be able to identify it immediately.

Others will have questions and seek explanations.

The first T-shirt in our shop is also a kind of test run for other textile Saab-related ideas. For our upcoming basic range, we would like to learn which sizes are in demand and what we should keep in stock and in what quantities. We have already set up a warehouse for production and have stocked up all the sizes on offer.

If sizes are missing, please let us know.

A word about the T-shirts themselves. Anyone who followed the idea from the start knows my affinity for local suppliers. Originally, textiles from German production were to be used, but the idea fell through due to the small quantities.

Saab T-shirts Oeko-Tex 100 certified

After an elaborate selection (Link), we have chosen a European manufacturer who has production in Morocco.

The T-shirts correspond, that was and is important, to the Oeko-Tex 100 standard, according to product class II (Link). With this second highest certification for products with skin contact, only textiles for babies are evaluated more strictly, the use of harmful substances is excluded. The Öko-Tex standard is more comprehensive than national legislation. The manufacturer, based in Ireland, also ensures that fair wages are paid.

As always, our Saab T-shirts are finished at a local company in the Aschaffenburg area. This guarantees the promised short delivery routes, fast communication and high flexibility and quality.

At the start, the shirts are only available in black. Additional variants in different shades will definitely follow. We are happy if you like the latest Saab idea - and if the Aero X Club members have a lot of fun.
