This is effective - dry ice blasting Saab 9-3 Aero

The time has come, the Saab 9-3 Aero is dismantled on the lift. Today is the big day, the dry ice blasting is coming up. The morning begins with a surprising question. Do you have hearing protection with you? I don't have that, totally unaware that dry ice blasting is going to be quite a noisy affair.

While an employee masks the Saab, the paint layer has to be protected, I get the missing hearing protection. Before we start, a little look at our equipment. A large container with dry ice is ready, as well as an Ice Blaster from Kärcher, which can be had for the price of a mid-range car. And outside, in front of the hall gate, there is a compressor in XXL format. For the necessary pressure.

The equipment is impressive and, as I will learn a little later, is worth six figures. But also incredibly effective. To show what dry ice blasting can do, we made a video of the work.
