How Brexit still touches my Saab microcosm

Brexit, the departure of the United Kingdom from the EU, was around two and a half years ago. I was sad about it (Link), and I couldn't quite understand the reasons at the time. Brexit ripped supply chains apart, banishing some good Saab parts sources from the screen, and even today it touches my Saab microcosm.

To be honest, my attitude towards Brussels has changed in the months since. If I was once an unreserved supporter of the EU, today doubts prevail. It feels like the Union is getting more and more invasive in life as such. Politicians - who previously did not master their national tasks with flying colors - now believe they can change the life of an entire continent.

That makes me skeptical, my European heart bleeds all the time, and if one of the readers finds a few nice words about the EU and its course, I'd be happy to hear encouragement in the comments.
