Now a sad place - abandoned Saab dealership in France
Almost exactly two years ago I reported here about an abandoned Saab workshop in France. A once successful business, which - as was shown in the course of the research - has its origins way back in the 1970s. With the end of the brand in Sweden, the Saab dealer also began to decline.
In 2010, Groupe Hubault, as the company is called, first applied for reorganization and then for liquidation. Shortly after the factory gates close in Trollhättan, the company is deleted from the local commercial register. What follows is a kind of mild hibernation of the northern French variant.
Because someone turns the key in the door, he does it again and again, takes care of the building and the inventory. Pays the bills for electricity and water.
