Eucalyptus green was not only the trend color of the early 90s at Saab

Every era has its own special colors and fashions and the late 80s and early 90s were remembered for their dark shades of green, among other things. Of course, every car brand had one or two of the popular colors on offer, including Saab. They had names like eucalyptus green or scarab green. It was almost impossible to escape them - until one day they disappeared from the market.

After that, they dominated used car shows and gravel lots for years. Often with light beige interior upholstery, almost a British look, as worn by many classic Jaguars and Aston Martins. But their popularity didn't last forever.

Today, on the other hand, people look up when something in eucalyptus green rolls into the yard. It's quite contemporary, a relic of the taste of 30 years ago. But is it also suspicious of a cult and should one grab it?
