Saab test track in Trollhättan is back in operation
A lot is developing in Trollhättan, especially in the Stallbacka, new life is taking place with great dynamism. The historic Saab test track, located directly at the former factory, can no longer be considered purely historical. She comes back to life and she has a future. There is a tenant who wants to use the test track himself, but will also open it up to other companies.
Just a few weeks ago, the municipality of Trollhättan bought 500.000 square meters of the former Saab factory space from NEVS. Below is the area on which an industrial campus (Link) will be created, as well as the test track. Kraftstaden Fastigheter, the municipality's real estate company, leases the test track and sublets it. This is now back in operation, with a main tenant who is not entirely unknown in the Saab scene.
