A Saab 93 is reborn - out of the field barn

We start with the next part of our Saab 93 story. It's still winter, but the scenery is clearly gaining momentum. While we rescue a Saab 99 GL from an underground car park (Link), where it stood for years, Henrik sets about freeing the Saab 93 from the field barn. The Swedish classic is not complete, not ready to drive and since the keys could no longer be found, it is something of a surprise package.

Of course, it will no longer be able to roll, even if the field barn is a dry place to store it. Just like on our Saab 99, the brakes will be tight. The tires are also over after an indefinitely long storage period. And as it should be, it will start to snow during the transport to the new home. Because it is January, the snow will accompany the two-stroke engine on its way.

But before that, let’s flash back. To the year 1985 and to Sweden.
