NatSaab 2023 – a sunny Saab event with more than 285 Saabs
Lochem - On Saturday, September 9th, 2023, the 2nd NatSaab took place at Lindeboomsweg 5 in Zwiep, on the grounds of Hoftijzer Lochem. This annual event organized by the Saab Club Nederland was completely sold out. There were more than 285 Saabs present and more than 500 Saab fans.
Due to the enormous crowd, the organization was forced to include the meadow opposite the event site. There was also a first for the Netherlands: a fully electric Saab 9-5, built by Saab specialist J & D van den Bosch from Vinkeveen (Link).

NatSaab 2023 – there was a lot to experience
There were a variety of activities for the visitors; a very extensive market, at least 30 stalls, with parts and Saab items, such as brochures, pins, caps and scale models. There were various speakers with interesting topics such as Saab tuning and the technical rejuvenation of older Saabs.

Children raced for it Saab World Cup in a Saab 006 (Saab for children) and were also able to paint an old Saab that was sold by the well-known Saab dealer Van Aalderen (Link) from Lochem was made available. Of course, there was also the opportunity to “kick tires” or view and talk about all the parked Saabs: all types and models, from “young” to real classics.

There was also a raffle at the end of the day. Over 125 selflessly donated Saab-related items were raffled off among visitors. The proceeds, €805, went to the Odensehuis Amsterdam, a place where people with dementia have a home and a voice.
The proceeds from all deposits collected also benefit the Odensehuis. Another NatSaab is expected to take place in 2024. There are still around 35.000 Saabs in the Netherlands, almost a third of which are convertibles.
The second NatSaab, an idea that came from IntSaab.
Congratulations to our Dutch friends.
It was very nice there. The Dutch can do it easily. Lots of beautiful and well-maintained Saabs on site. Hedin (Orio) was also there with a Saab.
The scene in the Netherlands is simply magical.
Thanks for the impressions.
Thank you! We were happy to do that!
